BALNEOCLIMATERIC (SPA) POTENTIAL AND POSSIBILITIES FOR DEVELOPMENT AND PROMOTION OF RURAL TOURISM IN TĂMĂŞEU, THE LOCALITY WITH BALNEO-CLIMATERIC FUNCTION (FROM BIHOR COUNTY, ROMANIA) Vlaicu Mihai, Josan Ioana, Blaga Lucian, Gaceu Ovidiu, University of Oradea, Romania Abstract Tămăşeu balneoclimateric (spa) resort is situated at 40 km from Oradea (Bihor county). Its bioclimatic potential is high and is also highlighted by the its annual average values of climatic elements (average annual temperature being 10.20 C, average annual rainfall being 650 mm, cloudiness getting to 6.5 tenths overcast, relative humidity being 80%, average wind speed being 2.5 m / s, etc..), by its bioclimatic characteristics (4 months / year are relaxing and balanced), by the chemical characteristics of its water whose therapeutic effects are good for (rheumatism, neurological disease, chronic venous circulatory disorders, chronic gynecological diseases, etc..). The high balneoclimateric potential of this locality isn’t supported by any modern material base or touristic promotion.
