Abstract The solutions for the conservation of migratory waterbirds are in the domain of the political game and the challenge of sustainability is related to the use of regulatory tools for provide they adaptation and mitigation face the impacts of climate change and land use. This paper examined how occurs the management of the migratory waterbirds in Ramsar site of Brazilian Pantanal National Park (PARNA Pantanal) from global to local scale.
