Welcome

The Romanian Limnogeographical Association (RLA) in collaboration with the Polish Limnological Society (PLS), German Limnological Society (GLS), Iberian Association of Limnology (AIL) and Danube Delta National Institute Tulcea (DDNI) would like to invite you to take part in the 7th International Hybrid Conference “Water resources and wetlands” set to take place between 10-14 September 2025 in the “Delta” Hotel in Tulcea, Romania.

Water is the essence of life, and wetlands are among the most valuable ecosystems on our planet. However, both face growing threats due to climate change, pollution, and unsustainable resource use. Water scarcity, pollution, and ecosystem degradation are among the most pressing global challenges of our time. Wetlands, often overlooked, play a critical role in water purification, climate regulation, and biodiversity conservation. As the world faces increasing environmental pressures, sustainable water management and wetland protection have never been more important. The Water Resources and Wetlands Hybrid Conference is a global platform dedicated to addressing these urgent challenges, fostering collaboration, and driving sustainable solutions.
This unique hybrid event allows participants to attend either in person or online, making it accessible to professionals, researchers, policymakers, students, and environmental advocates from around the world. Whether you work in water resource management, wetland conservation, environmental policy, or climate research, this conference offers an unparalleled opportunity to engage with experts, explore the latest research, and contribute to meaningful discussions on the future of our water systems.
This conference serves as a vital forum where scientists, engineers, decision-makers, and environmental professionals can come together to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and develop strategies for tackling water-related challenges. Through keynote speeches, panel discussions, research presentations, and workshops, attendees will gain insights into cutting-edge solutions and policy frameworks that can drive real change.
