Romanian Limnogeographical Association (Asociatia Romana de Limnogeografie)

The aim of the journal "Lakes reservoirs and ponds" is to publish peer-reviewed original papers, review papers and notes in the field of limnology, including - geology, geomorphology, hydrology, physics and chemistry, biology, bio-geography, resources, ecology, and management of lakes. Both theoretical and applied papers are equally encouraged. Proceedings of workshops, specialized symposia, conferences, etc., may also be accepted for publication if the scientific standard of international relevance set by the journal is fulfilled.

Journal Lakes reservoirs and ponds promotes and respect the ethical principles of scientific publishing. These standards are essential to ensure quality and credibility of scientific publications. All manuscript are considered without regard to sex, gender, race, religion, citizenship, etc. of the authors.  Romanian Limnogeographical Association and the partners are committed to maintain the statements of COPE's Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors (http://publicationethics.org/resources/code-conduct).

The language of the Journal is English in .doc format (please do not use .docx). Authors  for  whom  English  is  not  their  mother tongue should have their manuscripts checked by a competent linguist or native English speaker before submission (American or British usage is accepted, but not a mixture of these).

Each year volume comprises two issues and occasional monographic supplement issues.

Lakes reservoirs and ponds is an open access journal - all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.

Open access under CC BY-NC-ND license. Authors retain copyright and publishing rights without restrictions.

To  avoid  any  form  of  plagiarism,  each  manuscript  newly  submitted  will  be  checked  regarding plagiarism using Anti-plagiat software.

Publication fee: Publishing in Lakes reservoirs and ponds is free of charge for authors. Journal does not have article submission charges.
